Samsung officially build a R&D center in Tay Ho Tay urban area

Lee Jae-Yong, the third-generation chairman of the Samsung family, arrives in Vietnam to attend the inauguration of a new R&D center. With an investment scale of about USD 220 million, this is Samsung's largest R&D facility in Southeast Asia. Samsung's R&D center in Vietnam was initially constructed in March 2020 in Tay Ho Tay urban area. It is located on 11,603 sqm, with a total floor area of ​​79,511 m2, including three basements and 16 floors. This construction is expected to become one of the world-class research and development centers.

It is expected that when it comes into operation, Samsung Vietnam's new Research and Development Center will increase its workforce from 2,200 to 3,000 people.
