Thanh Xuan district which was established in 1996 is an urban district of Hanoi City.

There are 11 administrative units in Thanh Xuan district including Nhan Chinh, Khuong Mai, Thuong Dinh, Khuong Dinh, Thanh Xuan Bac, Kim Giang, Khuong Trung, Phuong Liet, Thanh Xuan Trung, Ha Dinh and Thanh Xuan Nam.

Thanh Xuan district is located at the gateway to the South West of Hanoi capital.

Nguyen Trai Street, Truong Chinh Street and Belt Road No. 3 are the main roads connecting Thanh Xuan district with the centre of the city and other districts.

Thanh Xuan district is bordered by Ha Dong and Tu Liem districts to the West, Hai Ba Trung districtsto the East, Thanh Tri district to the South and Dong Da and Cau Giay districts to the North.

The district is the home to many universities, colleges which have been formed for many years.

There are some local markets such as Nga Tu So, Thuong Dinh, Nhan Chinh, Phung Khoang, etc. Besides, you are able to shop at the Fivimart, Hapromart – the small but very convenient supermarkets in Hanoi. It takes you only ten minutes to go to Big C supermarket if you would like to shop more.

Some new and modern urban areas are located in Thanh Xuan district such as Royal City, Hapulico Complex, JSC 34,  Hei Tower, Golden Land (Under construction), etc. Among them, Royal City is the perfect urban complex where you can experience a perfectly comfortable living.
