Tu Liem is a suburban district of Hanoi City.

There are 16 administrative units in Tu Liem district including:

Tu Liem is the most populous district in Hanoi district with a total area of 75.32 km2 and a population of more than 500,000 people. Therefore, there is a plan to split Tu Liem district, the highest urbanization rate in Hanoi, into two districts.

Tu Liem district is bordered by Hoai Duc and Dan Phuong districts to the West, Cau Giay, Tay Ho, Thanh Xuan districts to the East, Ha Dong district to the South and Dong Anh district to the North.

The district is the home to many universities, colleges and new urban areas which have been formed for many years.

Tu Liem district has some famous fruits such as grapefruits in Phu Dien commune and sapodillas in Xuan Dinh commune. Tay Tuu commune is also famous flower village in Hanoi city.

Many urban areas are located in Tu Liem district such as The Manor, My Dinh Song Da building, Dolphin Plaza, etc. Among them, Keangnam Hanoi Landmark Tower is the tallest building all over Vietnam.

Some interesting and famous places are also located here such as Hanoi Museum, My Dinh Stadium, etc.

In Tu Liem district, it is so easy for you to go to the industrial parks such as Thang Long, Noi Bai – Soc Son, Thach That, Que Vo and Quang Minh.
